Update 11/19/2012 - Coco's been in her new foster home for nearly 6 weeks and it's going great!  She attends doggie daycare twice a week and she gets along well with the other dogs.  In her foster home Coco lives with a 12lbs senior shih tzu and an 85lb boxer/pit mix and with rules and boundries everyone gets along well.  Coco is a high energy dog that would love a home with another dog to romp with. Her canine housemate should be active but easy going and patient.  Coco's is almost a year old and has lots of energy and she just wants to play, play, play!  Coco likes people, everyone's a friend, and he did well with children in a previous foster home.  She needs an adopter that will dedicate a small amount of time each week to continue her training and help build her socilization and obedience skills.  She's made huge strides with her obedience training but she will need reinforcement in her furever home.  She LOVES to go on walks and her leash skills have improved greatly since she came to stay with us.  She would make a wonderful running or hiking partner.  If you'd like to meet Coco and make her a part of your family, please submit an application.  

From Coco's previous foster:  Coco is an absolute joy to foster. She loves playing with her foster sister or taking a trip to the dog park and making new friends. She enjoys car rides and is just a friendly little girl. Coco wants to say hello to everyone she passes on the street and is wonderful with children.

Coco is very eager to please and extremely smart. She does well with commands (sit, stay, come, drop it or leave it) and has zero food aggression, but she can be possessive with toys. Coco is learning how to walk nicely on the leash. She is still very much a puppy and needs a lot of play time to control her energy. She likes being part of the family whether that means sitting in your lap, snuggling on the couch, sprinting around the house, or simply chewing a bone.

Coco is good with dogs and loves playing tug of war. She does fine with cats too. Coco would love to be in an active home where she can play and run (or just cuddle) and just share her life with a family who will love her for the rest of her life.
