Introducing…..Mater He was named after Mater from the character in the movie Cars by the person who found him wondering along the side of the road. He is a neutered male pit mix, approximately 2 years old. Mater is great with cats and enjoys playing with the other dogs he lives with including a Shih Tzu mix that Mater plays with by crawling around on his belly so that they can both be at the same level. He is housebroken; leash trained, and knows some commands such as sit, shake, and gentle. He also likes to go for rides in the car. The best thing about Mater is that he is a loving, sweet, and gentle dog. He will make a great dog for the right family. He is currently being treated for Lyme disease and heart worms, but the vet feels he will recover nicely.
