Name: Monty

 Amiable, High-Energy, Outgoing, Fractious (lacks social skills), Playful, Willing to Work

 Per Our Professional Dog Evaluator:  In the kennel, Monty came forward in a calm and friendly manner.  When eye contact was made, he started jumping up and down in a friendly but excited manner.  When spoken to, he came forward and eagerly solicited more interaction.  On the leash, Monty is somewhat excited and eager.  When taken off-lead, Monty ignored his handler and investigated his environment.  When spoken to, Monty jumped all over his handler in and excited and friendly manner.  When stroked, Monty became aroused and jumped all over his handler.  Monty allowed his teeth to be examined without any difficulty.  During his body-handling test, Monty was excited and wiggly but did not show any signs of uneasiness or aggression, and was not sensitive to being handled.  When his food bowl was taken away, Monty tried to continue eating, but did not show any signs of uneasiness or aggression.  When startled by a sudden loud noise, Monty showed no reaction.  Monty exhibits a nice level of play, trains, quickly, already knows the commands “sit” and “shake”, and appears to be at least partially housebroken.
