Meet Avery!! She is a pint sized cutie with a lot of love to give. Avery was found as a stray running loose with a male dog. She was taken to Montgomery County Animal Shelter where she stayed for about 3 1/2 months.

She is now being fostered with one male dog and one female dog. She likes to play with other dogs, but can be on the dominant side. Her perfect match would be a submissive male dog. (This is the type of dog that she was found with as a stray) 

She would also be great as an only dog and doesn't seem to mind cats.

She is extremely affectionate and loves to stay close to her person. She is great with kids and will roll over so she can get bellyrubs from them. She loves to give kisses, cuddle, and sleep in bed with the family. :o)  She likes to sit at my feet while I'm on the computer and cuddle up on the couch. She is very smart and already knows sit, down, stay and shake. She is a calm girl, but loves to get energy out on walks. She seems to prance and skip down the sidewalk. She is a very happy girl and her tail is always wagging. She loves to play with toys and would love a yard to play fetch! She is housetrained and crate-trained as well.
