Sadie is a 2 year old American Pit Bull Terrier- this picture doesn't do her justice. She is truly gorgeous.
The people who turned her into the shelter only had her for 2 months and gave her up because she was not getting along with their female dog.
She was tested with a calm, confident male and she was fine. She also seems fairly calm around other dogs at the adoption events, although smaller, high strung dogs are not a good fit for her.
She would be great as an only dog, or with someone experienced enough to give her the confidence she needs to thrive.
She seems gentle with children, but is a bit food aggressive and needs some training- older children would be better.
