This boy is a young dog that gets along with other dogs, cats and is good with kids.  He knows some basic commands like sit, down, shake, come and is ready to learn some more.  He is currently looking for a foster home or forever home!  He is super inteligent and would make a great addition to anyones life!!!

 

Joey came a long way to get to safety and is ready to have a home to call his own.  Bully Paws was contacted by one our violunteers that her sister in ohio had found a pit bull mix.  In ohio there is a lot of BSL and pit bulls were banned in her county.  They tried to place the dog outside the county with no luck and couldnt hide him anymore.  They were coming to virginia to visit with family and they were going to have to turn the dog over to animal control who would have euthanized him immediately. 

 

We told the sister to bring the dog to Virginia to an adoption event to see if he could get a foster, but he didnt find one that day- we just couldnt let him go back to ohio to be killed so we told them to leave him with us.

 

He needs a foster or forever home ASAP
