Meet Emma Claire! She is a 2-year-old spayed female full of love and energy. Emma is a pit bull/lab mix. She is mostly black, but you will see that she really wanted to be a brindle! The white star on her chest and white tips on her paws complete this fashionista’s look.

 

She loves to play fetch and tug of war with her humans and loves every dog she meets. She plays wholeheartedly, so if she has a companion, it should be with another dog about her size (60 lbs. and medium height). She will try to insist on playtime, but is submissive with her pack. Emma is very smart and eager to please.

 

When she is alone with her humans, she is loving and sweet. Emma likes to hang out and watch TV, chew on a toy, and receive belly rubs. She is crate trained and has very good house manners. She has a little dance and yip when she needs to go out and only chews on her toys. The only time that Emma barks is when she sees a deer or perceives a threat in her home. She sings and dances when it’s supper time, but sits for her supper until her humans tell her that it’s okay.
